Scams
Eating 100% gluten-free can be hard: both mentally and physically. Sadly, that makes us ripe for scammers telling us bad info for their own gains. What a world we live in.
Wow…what a dirtbag. I really tried to give Lou Reyes the benefit of the doubt. It’s just who I am. Deep down, I want to believe people are good. But after the wave of emails I’ve received in the past week about this guy, […]
Read MoreIt’s really not that hard to do the right thing. Honestly, it’s not. All you need to do is figure out what would piss the most people off and then NOT DO THAT. But it seems the folks at the Celiac Awareness Tour (now […]
Read MoreI thought long and hard about writing this post, as it deals with another “celiac isn’t a real disease” article somebody on Facebook sent to me. I’m very aware of linking too much negativity with our disease and the last thing I want to […]
Read MoreWhat kind of (Gluten Free) Society are we living in?? I’ve been meaning to blog about this site for awhile. The time is now ripe. The site I’m referring to is GlutenFreeSociety.org. The person running that atrocity is Dr. (and I use that term […]

Who I am. And who I'm not.
I AM someone who's been gluten-free since 2007 due to a diagnosis of severe celiac disease. I'm someone who can steer you in the right direction when it comes to going gluten-free. And I'm someone who will always give you the naked truth about going gluten free.
I AM NOT someone who embraces this gluten-free craziness. I didn’t find freedom, a better life or any of that other crap when I got diagnosed. With all due respect to Hunter S. Thompson, I found fear and loathing of an unknown world. But if I can share my wisdom, tell my stories and make the transition easier on you, I’ve done my job.
Send me a message
I'm all ears
