I write a lot about alcohol on this site. You may say I have a writing about drinking problem. Confused about gluten “removed” beer (hint…it’s not safe)? Not sure which alcohols you can drink? Pull up a chair, grab a gluten FREE beer and let’s learn.
What’s the difference between Bud Light and having sex in a kayak? They’re both f*cking close to water. 🙂 In this episode, we’re talking beer. More specifically, the difference between gluten-free beer (good) and gluten-removed beer (bad.) Listen in as Gluten Dude talks a […]Read More
So I’ve written about beer a lot on my little website here. Search for beer on my site (https://glutendude.com/?s=beer) and you’ll find lots and lots of articles. You may say I have a writing about drinking problem. (Get it? Instead of a drinking problem? […]Read More
So I kinda suck at self-promotion. When I was a kid, I had zero self-esteem. I mean…get rid of ALL of the self-esteem in the world, and that’s how much I had. “Why is Scott always so quiet?” “Why is Scott so shy?” Little […]Read More
I’ve written about beer on this site. A lot. I’ve written about it here. And here. Oh…and here too. Look over here. Wait…it’s here also. And finally…yeah it’s here. Yes…I have a writing about drinking problem. But this one is a biggie. There has […]Read More
When I was a kid, my dad drank Black Label beer out of a can (too often as it turned out…RIP dad). He very occasionally would offer me a sip and while I had no idea what “alcohol” was at this age, I thought […]Read More
I have nothing against Udi’s. Honestly. But I do wonder who is running the show over there because they simply cannot get their sh*t together. First, they can’t seem to fix the holes in their bread so it doesn’t look like swiss cheese. Then […]Read More
I am all about helping the gluten-free community. I also love beer. You put the two together and we’ve got today’s blog post. You see, there are companies that do gluten-free beer wrong (see Omission, Daura, etc.) and companies that do it right. And […]Read More
This one falls into the “why the hell can’t we just get a straight answer?” category. Last week, it was announced that “Mike’s Hard is the first malt liquor to go [almost] gluten-free.” And according to the article, now it’s the first malt beverage […]Read More
Usually, simple questions result in simple answers. The answer is either yes or no. That’s really the beauty of yes/no questions. There are only two possible answers. Here…let me give you some examples. Did I sleep well last night? No. Is iOS 8 taking […]Read More

Who I am. And who I'm not.
I AM someone who's been gluten-free since 2007 due to a diagnosis of severe celiac disease. I'm someone who can steer you in the right direction when it comes to going gluten-free. And I'm someone who will always give you the naked truth about going gluten free.
I AM NOT someone who embraces this gluten-free craziness. I didn’t find freedom, a better life or any of that other crap when I got diagnosed. With all due respect to Hunter S. Thompson, I found fear and loathing of an unknown world. But if I can share my wisdom, tell my stories and make the transition easier on you, I’ve done my job.
