Dear Gluten Dude: How do I keep 500 guests as safe as possible?

September 23, 2021 | 13 Comments

Early in my celiac days, when I was still in my gluten-free diapers, I was invited to golf-outing charity. I figured with transportation time included, I’d be gone max 6 hours. So I did what most celiacs do: I panicked. Just kidding. I ate […]

July 23, 2021 | 35 Comments

I use to love dinner time as a kid. I’d come home from school wondering what my mom had planned (this is before she got a job when I was 13). If I smelled spaghetti sauce, I was in high heaven. If I smelled […]

The Gluten Dude App: Gluten-free just got easier!

Eat out with less stress. Find GF options at airports. Save money on gluten-free food. Locate glute-free beer. Get support, make connections and more.

Who I am. And who I'm not.

Who I am. And who I'm not.

I AM someone who's been gluten-free since 2007 due to a diagnosis of severe celiac disease. I'm someone who can steer you in the right direction when it comes to going gluten-free. And I'm someone who will always give you the naked truth about going gluten free.

I AM NOT someone who embraces this gluten-free craziness. I didn’t find freedom, a better life or any of that other crap when I got diagnosed. With all due respect to Hunter S. Thompson, I found fear and loathing of an unknown world. But if I can share my wisdom, tell my stories and make the transition easier on you, I’ve done my job.
