On today’s Dear Gluten Dude podcast, we’re talking about pizza. And more specifically, if wheat starch is really safe for someone with celiac disease. Transcription can be found below the podcast recording. Podcast Transcription Hey everyone, welcome to Episode One of Dear Gluten Dude […]
Read MoreSaturday Kitchen is (yet another) cooking show based in the UK where viewers get to vote on which recipe will be prepared for the guest at the end of the episode. It ‘stars” chef Matt Tebbutt (I so wanted to call him Matt Tebbutthead, […]
Read MoreSo the Gluten Dude App has officially been live for 11 weeks. And over the course of these 77 days (don’t worry…I did the math), I’ve gotten some amazing feedback, some fantastic suggestions, and lots and lots of questions. And as I always taught […]
Read MoreEarly in my celiac days, when I was still in my gluten-free diapers, I was invited to golf-outing charity. I figured with transportation time included, I’d be gone max 6 hours. So I did what most celiacs do: I panicked. Just kidding. I ate […]
Read MoreI had an interesting relationship with my dad. He was my little league coach. He was my golfing partner. He called me his little buddy. He was all around just a great, great guy. I was the fourth out of 4 boys and as […]
Read MoreYes…a rare late afternoon blog post. Two cups of coffee and an espresso and I’m UP! I’ll make it a quick one. So on my mobile app for the celiac community, we have a restaurant directory of over 2,600 restaurants (with more added every […]

Read MoreWho I am. And who I'm not.

I AM someone who's been gluten-free since 2007 due to a diagnosis of severe celiac disease. I'm someone who can steer you in the right direction when it comes to going gluten-free. And I'm someone who will always give you the naked truth about going gluten free.
I AM NOT someone who embraces this gluten-free craziness. I didn’t find freedom, a better life or any of that other crap when I got diagnosed. With all due respect to Hunter S. Thompson, I found fear and loathing of an unknown world. But if I can share my wisdom, tell my stories and make the transition easier on you, I’ve done my job.

I'm all ears
