Before I dig into my review of Udi’s new gluten-free bread, a few disclaimers. Disclaimer: This is not an Udi’s hit piece. I have (deservedly) slammed them a number of times over the years. This is an actual honest review. Disclaimer: I don’t eat […]Read More
It’s true what they say. You cannot truly appreciate something until it’s taken away from you. Back in the PC days (pre-celiac), when I went out to eat, I perused the menu and ordered whatever I felt like that night. But celiac took that […]Read More

The good folks at Tim Horton’s reached out to me last week and asked if they could send me their new Gluten-Free Coconut Macaroons. As I tell all companies who want to send me samples, I said I’d be happy to try them but […]Read More

Who I am. And who I'm not.
I AM someone who's been gluten-free since 2007 due to a diagnosis of severe celiac disease. I'm someone who can steer you in the right direction when it comes to going gluten-free. And I'm someone who will always give you the naked truth about going gluten free.
I AM NOT someone who embraces this gluten-free craziness. I didn’t find freedom, a better life or any of that other crap when I got diagnosed. With all due respect to Hunter S. Thompson, I found fear and loathing of an unknown world. But if I can share my wisdom, tell my stories and make the transition easier on you, I’ve done my job.
