Month: December 2012
As 2012 comes to a close…I’m cleansing. Cleansing my blog (details to come). Cleansing my body. Cleansing my mind. Cleansing my soul. And most importantly…I’m cleansing my inbox. I have a whole lotta rants sitting in my email and haven’t had the time to […]
Read MoreOne night. That’s all I ask for. Just…one…night. One night where I can celebrate the holidays like everybody else does without feeling like shit. One night where I can imbibe in the pleasures of life a bit without paying the consequences. One night where […]
Read MoreCrohns. IBS. Acid Reflux. Hypochondria. Depression. Stress. Psychosis. The list is endless of all of the misdiagnoses that the celiac community has suffered. It’s complete and utter BS that this still goes on. The following comment was left on my “Hey celiacs…we’re trendy” blog […]
Read MoreI can say with absolute certainty that I was an awkward teenager. I tried to portray myself as cool and collected, but inside I was tangled mess of nerves and insecurity. I’m assuming many teenagers feel the same way. Now on top of that…add […]
Read MoreI know I’m supposed to talk about celiac disease and the evils of gluten. All of the so-called blogging experts say don’t talk about things outside your niche. But I’m just not there yet. I will be soon. I want to tell you all […]

Read MoreLet’s just assume I went to my favorite restaurant last Saturday night. Let’s just assume I’ve been there about 100 times in the past two years. Let’s just assume I order one of two things every single time I go there, sushi or the […]
Read MoreWho I am. And who I'm not.
I AM someone who's been gluten-free since 2007 due to a diagnosis of severe celiac disease. I'm someone who can steer you in the right direction when it comes to going gluten-free. And I'm someone who will always give you the naked truth about going gluten free.
I AM NOT someone who embraces this gluten-free craziness. I didn’t find freedom, a better life or any of that other crap when I got diagnosed. With all due respect to Hunter S. Thompson, I found fear and loathing of an unknown world. But if I can share my wisdom, tell my stories and make the transition easier on you, I’ve done my job.
Send me a message
I'm all ears
