What a week. What a long, long week. The kind that on one side makes you weep for humanity. And yet on the other side, be amazed at our ability to deal with the worst of situations, look evil and stupidity in the eye, […]
Read MoreTo all of you crappy media outlets out there, here’s a tip for you. If you can’t even pronounce the word “celiac” correctly, you aren’t remotely qualified to talk about our disease. So please stop. Effective immediately. You have turned gluten-free and celiac disease […]
Read MoreYesterday was another day that shook me to my core. I’ve realized that my kids will never grow up in the same world that I did. And I have this sinking feeling that the aggressive nature of mankind will eventually destroy this beautiful planet […]
Read MoreDude note on 04/24/15: Udi’s bread has gotten worse. Much worse. Read about it here. Last week, Gluten Free Jenna, a fellow celiac, posted the above picture of a loaf of Udi’s bread she had just bought (without the Udi’s inset…that was my special […]
Read MoreAhhh….what a great way to end a long week! I get lots of emails from fellow celiacs needing advice. I offer my advice and hope for the best. Some emails I share on the blog as part of my Dear Gluten Dude series and […]
Read MoreAfter last week’s major media fail, it’s oh so nice when it’s done right. In the video above, Dr. Sanjay Gupta discusses the facts about gluten and celiac disease (yeah, I know, facts…what a concept) and talks about why the wrong people are going […]

Read MoreWho I am. And who I'm not.
I AM someone who's been gluten-free since 2007 due to a diagnosis of severe celiac disease. I'm someone who can steer you in the right direction when it comes to going gluten-free. And I'm someone who will always give you the naked truth about going gluten free.
I AM NOT someone who embraces this gluten-free craziness. I didn’t find freedom, a better life or any of that other crap when I got diagnosed. With all due respect to Hunter S. Thompson, I found fear and loathing of an unknown world. But if I can share my wisdom, tell my stories and make the transition easier on you, I’ve done my job.
Send me a message
I'm all ears
