It’s really not that hard to do the right thing. Honestly, it’s not. All you need to do is figure out what would piss the most people off and then NOT DO THAT. But it seems the folks at the Celiac Awareness Tour (now […]
Read MoreCeliac is such a strange disease. You can go stretches where you feel totally fine and you find yourself thinking that you’ve got it all figured out. But then you get hit by god knows what and you become a prime candidate for the […]
Read MoreCeliac disease Is a disease of the gut And more times than not It’s a giant pain in the butt A pain in the butt Can mean so many things For all the problems it causes For all the angst in brings But today […]
Read MoreI thought long and hard about writing this post, as it deals with another “celiac isn’t a real disease” article somebody on Facebook sent to me. I’m very aware of linking too much negativity with our disease and the last thing I want to […]
Read MoreThere are so many lame attempts at gluten-free humor out there. Most of it is just mean-spirited because it’s done by people who don’t have gluten issues. Here is a perfect example. It is so lame…and it’s done by a, cough-cough, comedy troupe. But […]
Read MoreWhat kind of (Gluten Free) Society are we living in?? I’ve been meaning to blog about this site for awhile. The time is now ripe. The site I’m referring to is GlutenFreeSociety.org. The person running that atrocity is Dr. (and I use that term […]
Read MoreThere are currently 515 emails in my inbox. Yeah…I’m a big backlogged. Buried within them are some nice passionate celiac rants that the community has shared with me. Now I’m going to share them with you. See how easy this is?? Rant #1 I […]

Read MoreWho I am. And who I'm not.
I AM someone who's been gluten-free since 2007 due to a diagnosis of severe celiac disease. I'm someone who can steer you in the right direction when it comes to going gluten-free. And I'm someone who will always give you the naked truth about going gluten free.
I AM NOT someone who embraces this gluten-free craziness. I didn’t find freedom, a better life or any of that other crap when I got diagnosed. With all due respect to Hunter S. Thompson, I found fear and loathing of an unknown world. But if I can share my wisdom, tell my stories and make the transition easier on you, I’ve done my job.
Send me a message
I'm all ears
