Life can be rough for us all. There’s no doubt that most of us have our serious ups and downs; emotionally, physically, financially, whatever. We deal with celiac, on top of whatever else life decides to throw at us. But even at our worst […]
Read MoreI do not wear makeup. Yes, I wear an earring. Yes, I put gel in my hair. Yes, I’ve had my brows waxed a few times (and based on my experience, my mind cannot even process how anybody would ever get a bikini wax!!) […]
Read MoreSo recently, every meal hurts my stomach. Every…single…meal. It really takes a lot of the joy out of eating, wouldn’t you say? Tuesday night, I worked late and ended up making myself a fantabulous pasta dish with sun-dried tomatoes, corn and mushrooms in a […]
Read MoreOne of my lovely Dudettes has been promising for some time to go gluten-free for a week to show her support. A lovely gesture indeed and to be honest, it was one I was hoping for. If nothing else, it’s a good discipline test. […]
Read MoreAfter way too many stories of celebrities embracing gluten-free as the end-all, be-all healthy diet, we finally have a public figure stepping up for celiac awareness. I think I speak for many of us when I say…IT’S ABOUT TIME! Let’s have a big, warm, […]

Read MoreWho I am. And who I'm not.
I AM someone who's been gluten-free since 2007 due to a diagnosis of severe celiac disease. I'm someone who can steer you in the right direction when it comes to going gluten-free. And I'm someone who will always give you the naked truth about going gluten free.

Thompson, I found fear and loathing of an unknown world. But if I can share my wisdom, tell my stories and make the transition easier on you, I’ve done my job.

I'm all ears
