Eating Out
Eating out with celiac disease can be an adventure in fear and trepidation. And many restaurants don’t make it any easier. Is this section, I cover who does it right, who does it wrong and everything in between.
No time to waste today so I’m going right into it. This email is from a mom whose daughter has celiac, is making ALL of her own food at college, yet still has to pay for the $5,000 per year meal plan. Why? Because […]
Read MoreA few quick hits before I kick off today’s blog post. – Thanks tons for all of your feedback regarding my trip to Cheerios-Land next week. I now have so many amazing questions to ask, they may actually regret inviting me (just kidding…I think). […]
Read MoreWhen I first started blogging, I had this brilliant idea. I was going to do an exposé on how expensive gluten-free food was. I was gonna go to my local grocery store and take pictures of the prices of regular chocolate chip cookies compared […]

Read MoreWho I am. And who I'm not.

I AM someone who's been gluten-free since 2007 due to a diagnosis of severe celiac disease. I'm someone who can steer you in the right direction when it comes to going gluten-free. And I'm someone who will always give you the naked truth about going gluten free.
I AM NOT someone who embraces this gluten-free craziness. I didn’t find freedom, a better life or any of that other crap when I got diagnosed. With all due respect to Hunter S. Thompson, I found fear and loathing of an unknown world. But if I can share my wisdom, tell my stories and make the transition easier on you, I’ve done my job.

I'm all ears
