Party City has had a rough day. You know…with the whole ‘celiacs are gross’ thing. So I thought I’d write a poem to cheer them up. —— Hey Party City How was your day? Like the Southwest Airlines ad I’m sure you just want […]
Read MoreJust when you think we’ve hit rock bottom…the bar keeps getting lowered. I thought it was bad when The Today Show called celiac a new trendy disease. I thought it was bad when The Today Show said we were picky eaters. I thought it […]
Read MoreI’m writing this post with a swirl of emotions (swirl? really Dude??). I’m gonna try to make it quick. Not sure how it’s gonna play out. I know I’ll get some hate (I mean…more hate) but here goes. Oh…first let me say this is […]
Read MoreThis is a post about attempted suicide and how our amazing community helped. But first… I try my best not to preach here. I share what works and doesn’t work for me, I share stories from others in the community, and from that I […]
Read MoreForgive me community for I have sinned. It has been 4 months since posting my last “celiac rant”. There are 55 of them currently in my inbox. My goal is to post one per year for the next 55 years. And yes…I plan on […]

Read MoreWho I am. And who I'm not.
I AM someone who's been gluten-free since 2007 due to a diagnosis of severe celiac disease. I'm someone who can steer you in the right direction when it comes to going gluten-free. And I'm someone who will always give you the naked truth about going gluten free.
I AM NOT someone who embraces this gluten-free craziness. I didn’t find freedom, a better life or any of that other crap when I got diagnosed. With all due respect to Hunter S. Thompson, I found fear and loathing of an unknown world. But if I can share my wisdom, tell my stories and make the transition easier on you, I’ve done my job.

I'm all ears
