3 Celiac Videos – 3 Important Lessons

videos on celiac disease

Sure…I could write a lot of words about the following videos but blah, blah, blah. Sometimes, videos just speak for themselves. Just remember, celiac disease bites, but a good attitude and strong sense of humor go a long way.

Lesson 1: Celiac Disease Sucks

Lesson 2: A Great Attitude is Your Best Friend

Lesson 3: Laughter Will Always be Your Best Medicine

Dude question: Which is your favorite video??

Dude Note: If you ever find yourself traveling, stuck in an airport, or trying to figure out where you can actually eat, that’s why I built the Gluten Dude app.

It’s not just a list of “GF-friendly” places. Every restaurant includes vetting notes so you can make a more informed call when you’re out and about.

It’s free to download, and it’s there when you need it most.

  1. Three is my favorite! Clever & relatable. Did not relat to 1. In twenty years of having celiac no one has ever called me called picky! 2 video kept stalling, gave up on it.

  2. The first one was awesome but I do think they are a great trio together….good lessons for all. I want to forward all of them to everyone I know. The allergy reference was incorrect but really who cares at this point.

  3. I like video #3- It feels really good to laugh. Also feels really good to have found you and the community you have built here. I am ten days into this celiac/ gluten-free life after quite a bit of my life struggling with health problems. Your site and all its information has been a great comfort to me, and I just wanted to say thank you. I now feel hopeful instead of fearful about this new life and what the future holds. Thanks so very much!

  4. Even this 71-year-old late-diagnosed celiac loves the music video. The others are bit sappy and over-earnest. Informative, I guess, but not my cup of tea. And while I agree with the “not an allergy” comment above, sometimes that’s the only way to communicate the problem to the unaware.
