Celiac
Dang man…my blog is officially five years old. Five years old and 12 days to be exact. You might say it’s my blogiversary. Or my Gluten Dudiversary. Or my…ok, I’ll stop. Seriously…where does the time go? It seems like just yesterday my blog was […]
Read MoreWarning #1: This article contains some serious journalism. If you are not into someone uncovering the facts with big words that make me sound important, stop reading now. Warning #2: Warning #1 is a lie. This article talks about poop. Proceed at your own […]
Read MoreI’ve been a bad boy. So many emails that I have not responded to or acknowledged. I swear I do read every one of them, but time prevents me from responding at times. So my apologies to those who have reached out and have […]
Read MoreFor those of you a little scared by the above picture or for those who still have nightmares about Cape Fear (not saying I do…maybe), let’s start with a joke: What’s the difference between a dirty bus stop and a lobster with breast implants? […]
Read MoreI can’t eat gluten. Ever. And if you are reading this, I’m guessing you can’t eat gluten either. Ever. What happens when we do eat gluten? I asked this same question 3 years ago and here are some of the results: Exhaustion beyond belief […]

Read MoreThere is a real misnomer out there that after your celiac diagnosis, once you go gluten-free, you’ll feel great. You’ll notice the difference right away. You’ll be back to your old self before you know it. Ummmm…no, not necessarily. When I was first diagnosed, […]
Read MoreWho I am. And who I'm not.
I AM someone who's been gluten-free since 2007 due to a diagnosis of severe celiac disease. I'm someone who can steer you in the right direction when it comes to going gluten-free. And I'm someone who will always give you the naked truth about going gluten free.
I AM NOT someone who embraces this gluten-free craziness. I didn’t find freedom, a better life or any of that other crap when I got diagnosed. With all due respect to Hunter S. Thompson, I found fear and loathing of an unknown world. But if I can share my wisdom, tell my stories and make the transition easier on you, I’ve done my job.
Send me a message
I'm all ears
