Celiac
Hey everyone. Happy Friday. I took about an hour this morning responding to as many of your emails as possible. Yeah…I’m ridiculously backlogged. I can’t respond to every email but I do indeed read them all. It’s absolutely eye-opening how this disease affects us […]
Read MoreI’m writing this post with a swirl of emotions (swirl? really Dude??). I’m gonna try to make it quick. Not sure how it’s gonna play out. I know I’ll get some hate (I mean…more hate) but here goes. Oh…first let me say this is […]
Read MoreI’m blessed in a lot of ways when it comes to my celiac disease. I’ve got an amazing partner in Mrs. Dude who goes above and beyond the call of duty when it comes to keeping me safe. The Dudettes are so understanding and […]
Read MoreYou may have to bear with me (or bare with me…could be fun) as I have a feeling this may be a long, rambling post. One…because it’s 10:00pm, I just worked a 14 hour day and I’m a bit punch drunk. And two…because it […]

Read MoreGluten-removed. Gluten-friendly. Gluten-conscious. All ridiculous terms made up by lazy companies that want to cash in on the gluten-free market without going the extra mile to keep those who can’t have any gluten from getting ill. But “gluten-free” is supposed to mean something. If […]
Read MoreWho I am. And who I'm not.
I AM someone who's been gluten-free since 2007 due to a diagnosis of severe celiac disease. I'm someone who can steer you in the right direction when it comes to going gluten-free. And I'm someone who will always give you the naked truth about going gluten free.
I AM NOT someone who embraces this gluten-free craziness. I didn’t find freedom, a better life or any of that other crap when I got diagnosed. With all due respect to Hunter S. Thompson, I found fear and loathing of an unknown world. But if I can share my wisdom, tell my stories and make the transition easier on you, I’ve done my job.
Send me a message
I'm all ears
