Celiac Rants
I hate celiac. You hate celiac. We all hate celiac. With all that pent up anger, people need a place to vent. That’s one of the reasons I started this blog. There’s just one rule: Once you’re done venting, you need to move forward and put the negative vibes on the back burner. Positive energy brings positive results. Ready for some rants? Read on.
It’s no secret that I’m not a big fan of the medical community. Yes, there are a lot of talented doctors out there. But in addition to what I’ve experienced in my lifetime, I’ve heard horror story after horror story on this blog about […]
Read MoreI do not wear makeup. Yes, I wear an earring. Yes, I put gel in my hair. Yes, I’ve had my brows waxed a few times (and based on my experience, my mind cannot even process how anybody would ever get a bikini wax!!) […]
Read MoreLots of celiac rants to get to today. It seems I’ve struck a chord and people certainly have rants. But because I don’t want this blog to be overwhelmed with too much negativity, I’m trying to space the rants apart a bit. As a […]
Read MoreAs each day passes, I seem to lose more and more faith in humanity. On Saturday, we had a reader who complained about some of the colorful language used on this blog and she said unless it was cleaned up and I moderated the […]

Read MoreWho I am. And who I'm not.
I AM someone who's been gluten-free since 2007 due to a diagnosis of severe celiac disease. I'm someone who can steer you in the right direction when it comes to going gluten-free. And I'm someone who will always give you the naked truth about going gluten free.
I AM NOT someone who embraces this gluten-free craziness. I didn’t find freedom, a better life or any of that other crap when I got diagnosed. With all due respect to Hunter S. Thompson, I found fear and loathing of an unknown world. But if I can share my wisdom, tell my stories and make the transition easier on you, I’ve done my job.

I'm all ears
