Am I supposed to embrace this? I know some others out there are touting that it’s a good thing Pillsbury has jumped into the gluten-free game. Me? I’m becoming immune to the whole thing. Absolutely immune. It’s Celiac Awareness Month and I’m just at […]
Read MoreI received the following email and if nothing else, I thought we could help a fellow celiac out and have some fun at the same time. Hey Gluten Dude…I am a 33 year old Type 1 diabetic, Mom to 2 beautiful munchkins, and a […]

Read MoreI’ve ranted. I’ve raved. I’ve spewed. I’ve joked. I’ve pleaded. I’ve begged. My bag of tricks is almost empty and instead of things getting better, they have actually gotten worse. Celiac disease is a f*cking joke. Not to me and you of course. But […]

Who I am. And who I'm not.
I AM someone who's been gluten-free since 2007 due to a diagnosis of severe celiac disease. I'm someone who can steer you in the right direction when it comes to going gluten-free. And I'm someone who will always give you the naked truth about going gluten free.
I AM NOT someone who embraces this gluten-free craziness. I didn’t find freedom, a better life or any of that other crap when I got diagnosed. With all due respect to Hunter S. Thompson, I found fear and loathing of an unknown world. But if I can share my wisdom, tell my stories and make the transition easier on you, I’ve done my job.
Send me a message
I'm all ears
