I finished my second Whole30 last week, but before I begin to tell you about how amazing it was (again!), let me get a few things out of the way. 1) I wrote a similar post a few years ago called Stop Eating Gluten-Free […]
Read MoreDude note: This article appears in the current issue of Simply Gluten-Free Magazine, where I have my own column. It’s a good magazine run by good people. Heck…they even turned down an advertising opportunity from Cheerios. And until March 31, get $6 off a […]
Read MoreBetween Cheerios, the media, Udi’s, and some ridiculous infighting within the celiac community, there has been an aura of negativity surrounding my advocacy lately. I’m not a negative guy. I just can’t stand BS and I can’t stand injustice. So if I see it, […]
Read MoreDude note: I’ll be sprinkling pics of Udi’s bread throughout this post. All pictures were taken directly from Udi’s Facebook page in the past 30 days. Keep reading past each pic. If it seems I’ve been laying it a bit heavy on Udi’s lately, […]
Read More2 quick Dude notes before I start today’s rant. 1) This is my 500th blog post. That is crazy. Where does the time go? 2) I’m off to Minnesota today to visit with the Cheerios folks. Should be interesting. Anyway, got a great email […]

Who I am. And who I'm not.
I AM someone who's been gluten-free since 2007 due to a diagnosis of severe celiac disease. I'm someone who can steer you in the right direction when it comes to going gluten-free. And I'm someone who will always give you the naked truth about going gluten free.
I AM NOT someone who embraces this gluten-free craziness. I didn’t find freedom, a better life or any of that other crap when I got diagnosed. With all due respect to Hunter S. Thompson, I found fear and loathing of an unknown world. But if I can share my wisdom, tell my stories and make the transition easier on you, I’ve done my job.
Send me a message
I'm all ears
