Gluten-Free Love Stories: Part 2

gluten free romance

Let’s face it…the world’s a messy place right now. We have an election that has turned into a carnival show already. We have politicians who are bought and paid for by the rich. The Middle East is as explosive as ever. Wages are down and tensions are up. The Kardashians are still on TV. Justin Bieber is still making music. Need I say more?

This means it’s the ripe time for more Gluten-Free Love Stories. For those of you who were not following this blog three years ago (tsk tsk), yep…I did this before and the results were just awesome. In a sea of bad news, it was refreshing to read stories of love, strength, support and community. You can check them out here. And yes, there are even a few from yours truly.

So what’s a gluten-free love story you ask?

It could be anything really.

Perhaps you met your significant other in a celiac support group or in some other gluten related way.

Or maybe your partner went gluten-free when you were diagnosed with celiac disease and you want to tell the world how awesome he/she is and how that makes you feel.

Or it could be as simple as telling us how your relationship has helped you through the turmoil that can be the gluten-free life; how your partner has made a difference in your life.

And if you are not gluten-free, but your partner is, we want to hear from you too.

I will accept any and all stories.

Simply complete the form below and I’ll take things from there. And I’d LOVE to have some pictures to go along with the stories so don’t be shy. I’ll be posting the stories throughout the next few months.

Oh…and in case you’re not in the mood, in the famous words of George Costanza, “You’re not in the mood? You GET in the mood.” Here’s some inspiration for you:

In the mood now? Good. Now let’s spread some lovin’. Thanks!

Who I am. And who I'm not.

Who I am. And who I'm not.

I AM someone who's been gluten-free since 2007 due to a diagnosis of severe celiac disease. I'm someone who can steer you in the right direction when it comes to going gluten-free. And I'm someone who will always give you the naked truth about going gluten free.

I AM NOT someone who embraces this gluten-free craziness. I didn’t find freedom, a better life or any of that other crap when I got diagnosed. With all due respect to Hunter S. Thompson, I found fear and loathing of an unknown world. But if I can share my wisdom, tell my stories and make the transition easier on you, I’ve done my job.
