I’m in Waltham. I’m a rookie celiac just diagnosed in June.

Hi Kelly, My husband works in Waltham and we go to docs at Children’s Hospital in Waltham. We love to eat at The Chateau (awesome GF rolls, just ask as soon as you sit so they can get them baked for you right away). Not Your Average Joes in Watertown is awesome too. And if you venture to Burlington, Burtons is great. You are in a good area to eat out. My daughter was diagnosed last year and I remember crying that I can’t do this. But it becomes second nature very soon and you develop confidence. If you want any help or advice, email me at mcgrath1975 at hotmail dot com. Lots of luck!

Have any of you heard of NECO (New England Celiac Organization). When I was first diagnosed with Celiac Disease this group was very helpful to help me navigate things. Now that I have Celiac Disease for about 4 years they help me stay positive, connect with others who also have Celiacs, and find new products/ restaurants. Check them out they have a lot of very helpful resources and support groups! There are currently 8 different support groups in Massachusetts. http://www.neceliac.org/
