Travel Success (& Horror) Stories

    • jxg

I was recently in Madrid on a business trip and found it quite easy to eat there. I was prepared with my phone app with the celiac cards in each language which helps tremendously. But every place I ate knew celiac right away and was accomodating. Obviously I was not able to eat the same things as everyone else but was able to eat something. Spain is fairly good at labeling sin gluten. As always you should be careful and carry snacks but in general I found it good compared to France and Germany.
