I would like to add a note here about being out to lunch with family yesterday on way home from an event. Grandchildren with us who wanted a Dairy Queen lunch; adults, too except of course, me. When it came time for my order…I didn’t order anything. Actually I wasn’t hungry, but also there was nothing on the menu I could have. My husband gets upset because I didn’t order anything and says to me “isn’t there Anything you can have?” Well, no, there isn’t. He’s almost mad at me because I didn’t eat. I wasn’t really hungry at that point anyway. I have had this diagnosis for just over a year and he still doesn’t “get it”. I don’t know what to do about that, but I stuck to my guns and waited til I got home to fix myself something gluten free. Thanks for letting me get that off my chest.
