    Thanks, GD!

    :)
We all need more laughter in our lives.
Despite the hardships sometimes, life is very good indeed.

When people ask me “do you view life as ‘the glass being half-empty’ or ‘the glass being half-full’ ?” I say, “Either way, it’s time to go back up to the bar!!.”

Life is about LIVING each day fully –and a day without laughter is a lost day.

(P.S. Love the first e card!! and it would make a great bumper sticker, except it is incorrect and says “celiac’s”…and the poor kid is eating bread and drinking a big old glass of milk…. groan)

oh well, I am laughing about that too. :)

Have a relaxing weekend, Dude–that’s an order.

The dietician they set me up with when I was first diagnosed was such a complete joke and she was a huge prude…..so I thought it would be really funny to ask her if semen was gluten free. She was quite shocked and I think rather disgusted….I thought it was funny!

GD, my favorite comedian is John Pinette! I had never seen the one on gluten, OMG, you have made my day. When I lived in SC we had recorded “I’m Starvin.” Whenever we had house guests, we would play the recording. He is a hoot.

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!!!!!

A nutritionist said: “I want you to juice”.

      Juice is not a verb.
I did not do well with this

Third day in, I juiced a ham.

That ham joke…was John Pinette, not me.

I never tried to juice a ham.

        Honest.

When I moved out of the family home my little brother asked our mom “Can we eat normal food now?” I thought that was kinda funny.

I told the hubs I picture everyone I know sighing with nervous relief that I am NOT coming to their houses for Thanksgiving. (whew, thank GAWD she’s staying home–that poor thing! )

Like they would have to feel guilty and sad for me while eating their crackers and rolls, stuffing, gravy and pies while I just nibble on celery and carrot sticks. (they think that’s all we eat, guys…yup, we’re all just big old GF bunnies )

      :)

Holidays as a teen with CD were awful. Grandma wondering why a little slice of pecan pie was off limits, me eating the filling and being careful not to get any crust, and the GF hockey pucks (supposed to be biscuits) sitting on plates with exactly one bite taken out, and the big to do over ‘David’s Special Plate’ which caused my little brother to start calling me Special David. Nowadays I for some reason always have to work on holidays, (wink wink).
