July 19, 2016 | 69 Comments

I can’t eat gluten. Ever. And if you are reading this, I’m guessing you can’t eat gluten either. Ever. What happens when we do eat gluten? I asked this same question 3 years ago and here are some of the results: Exhaustion beyond belief […]

A Lesson in Celiac Advocacy

June 30, 2016 | 33 Comments

Breathing. The key to life. Get an email from a client that makes you upset? Don’t respond right away. Breathe. Someone trolling you online? Don’t engage. Breathe. Someone makes fun of your autoimmune disease? Don’t fly off the handle (yet). Breathe. I learned this […]

May 18, 2016 | 44 Comments

There is a real misnomer out there that after your celiac diagnosis, once you go gluten-free, you’ll feel great. You’ll notice the difference right away. You’ll be back to your old self before you know it. Ummmm…no, not necessarily. When I was first diagnosed, […]

Gluten Dude: The mobile app that puts your safety first!

All the tools you need for a simpler gluten-free journey, brought to you by a passionate celiac disease advocate who understands the challenges you face.

Who I am. And who I'm not.

Who I am. And who I'm not.

I AM someone who's been gluten-free since 2007 due to a diagnosis of severe celiac disease. I'm someone who can steer you in the right direction when it comes to going gluten-free. And I'm someone who will always give you the naked truth about going gluten free.

I AM NOT someone who embraces this gluten-free craziness. I didn’t find freedom, a better life or any of that other crap when I got diagnosed. With all due respect to Hunter S. Thompson, I found fear and loathing of an unknown world. But if I can share my wisdom, tell my stories and make the transition easier on you, I’ve done my job.
