As an adult, celiac disease is hard enough. I can’t even imagine being stuck with this life-long disease as a child. The cupcakes at school. The pizza parties. The freedom of eating whatever you want. Being gluten free is tough now. It must suck as a child.
And of course…there is the child’s staple food…candy! What’s safe?...
